Being abroad we always experience the gap between us – Poles and other Europeans, North Americans or the Japanese.

For us every penny counts, for them not necessarily.

A good example is a trip to see whale sharks. We paid $280 which is a lot for us. With us there were Germans, French girls and a Dutch.
For them it wasn’t a big deal to buy long-sleeve T-shirts for $25, rent a wetsuit for $15, buy a CD for $30 and finally buy a photo for $8.
I would feel comfortable if the prices were in Polish Zloty, unfortunately, they were not.
