21st August – bye, bye home and troubles

It is about 10:30 pm, John Paul II Airport in Krakow and we are beginning our twenty-seven-hour-long trip to Miami.

For the first time we use Finnair which turns out to be comfortable and punctual but can’t be compared with Lufthansa.

The service is of good quality but apart from coffee, tea, water and blueberry juice the passengers have to pay for snacks and drinks.

The flight to Helsinki is smooth and fast, there are plenty of free seats in the plane.

When it comes to the airport in Helsinki, it is large and modern. We land at 1 am so we try to find some place to nod off. The first place: joined seats seem uncomfortable so we move to some soft padded restaurant bench. Now it is comfy but the music from the restaurant prevents us from sleep.

At 8:00 am we board the plane to London and take off.
