Singapore is an amazing city. It is modern, vibrant, elegant and has got incredible architecture. Nowhere have we seen so complex and extravagant architecture like here in Singapore.

However, the novelty and modernizm of downtown contrasts with old and charming buildings of Little India or Chinatown.

Singapur to nowoczesne miasto o niepowtarzalnej architekturze, gdzie każdy metr kwadratowy powierzchni wydaje się być przemyślany i odpowiednio zagospodarowany.

Singapur to również miasto w którym nowoczesność kontrastuje z tradycją i historią takich dzielnic jak Chinatown czy Little India.

A to już jeden z symboli Singapuru tzw. Singapore Flyer. Ten wysoki na 165 metrów „diabelski młyn” składa się z 28 kapsuł, mieszczących 28 pasażerów. W czasie naszego pobytu Flyer był nieczynny. We visited Chinatown mainly to eat good food but what we got was some cold duck with tofu and rice.

Breakfast at the hotel, hmm, it is hard to assess. The choice is rather big though the food disappears very quickly.

There are a lot of Japanese and Indian specialities plus some British accents like becon, scrambled eggs, beans.

Singapore has got very harsh law concerning drugs and drug trafficing. For drug trafficig there is death penalty.

Singapur ma bardzo rygorystyczne i drastyczne prawo dotyczące handlu narkotykami. Za handel narkotykami grozi kara śmierci.

The official currency of Singapore is Singaporean dollar.

For us one dollar equals 2,6 PLN.

Oficjalną walutą w Singapurze jest dolar singapurski.

The city is clean, colorful, well-lit and safe.

The place in which we are staying, named Bugis is full of bars, local restaurants and shops, both exclusive and the cheap ones.

Singapur późnym wieczorem i nocą. Miasto jest pięknie oświetlone, kolorowe i bezpieczne. Dzielnica w której mieszkamy -Bugis jest pełna sklepów, zarówno tych bardzo ekskluzywnych jak i tych ekstremalnie tanich, mnóstwo tu również knajpek i restauracji.

Impossible to try and eat everything. The choice of food is incredible, the prices are extremally low.

We thought that Thailand was the paradise for the senses, well, we have changed our minds.

Singapur – raj dla zmysłów, wybór jedzenia przeogromny, warzywa, makarony, ryże, mięsa, owoce morza. Ceny tzw. street foodu bardzo niskie. Za 12 PLN człowiek naje się to syta. Tu zjedliśmy pierwszy posiłek. Nasze dania: kurczak w pomarańczach i sezamie oraz makaron z pierożkami z nadzieniem wieprzowym.
