Wybór knajpek i restauracji w Brisbane jest niewiarygodny. Ceny w restauracjach są przystępne, a jedzenie po prostu palce lizać.

Wczoraj restauracja japońska i kurczak Teriyaki oraz wołowina z nudlami i suchymi płatkami ryby, które o dziwo ruszały się na talerzu, ale tylko przez chwilkę.

Cena za dwa spore dania to 23$ AUD.

Dziś kuchnia włoska i jedno danie dla naszej dwójki za 12$ AUD.

Wyjeżdżając do Australii za dolara australijskiego zapłaciliśmy 2,78 PLN. Dziś dolar jest troszkę tańszy, kosztuje 2,74 PLN.

W centrum Brisbane, na południowym brzegu rzeki Brisbane, znajduje się piękny park oraz sztuczna plaża.

Najwyższy z wieżowców widocznych na zdjęciu to Meriton Suites. My mieszkamy na 21 piętrze, budynek ma 74 piętra.

Perfect location in Brisbane, wonderful service – simply a great choice.

Below are some pros of Meriton Suites, Brisbane.

1. clean and well-kept apartments

2. lots of space

3. relatively new furniture

4. fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and all the utensils

5. free coffee, tea, sugar, sweetener, creamer and coffee milk (supplied on daily basis)

6. a washing machine and a drier plus the washing up liquid and washing liquid for washing clothes

7. two TVsets in an apartment

8. access to pool and gym

9. helpful staff, they provided me with hair straightener

10. meals and shopping delivery to your room

11. safe, quiet and comfortable

There are no disadvantages.

Meriton Suites, Kent Street, Sydney

Good location, clean but a little worn-out.

When I compare Meriton Suites in Brisbane and Sydney, the ones in Brisbane are a winner as they are in a better condition or seem newer.

The pros of studio apartment in Sydney

1. clean and comfortable

2. a lot of space

3. well-equipped, in the studio there is everything you may need

4. very good location

1. fast check in and check out

5. friendly staff

The cons:

Just one thing, kitchen and bathroom furniture is worn-out.

All in all, I do recommend Meriton Suites, Kent Street, Sydney.

12 kilometrów od centrum Brisbane mieści się rezerwat misiów koala, do którego trafiają chore, ranne lub osierocone zwierzęta. Rezerwat został założony w roku 1927. W rezerwacie schronienie i opiekę znalazło ponad 130 koali oraz kangury, wombaty, platypusy i wiele ptaków.

Wstęp do Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary kosztuje 32 dolary AUD.

The flight from Singapore to Brisbane (which lasts approximately 7 hours) was smooth and fast. We opted for the Emirates as it is considered to be one of the best airlines in the world.

Well, there are better airlines with more experienced and reliable staff. It is not that the service was low or substandard, it is the experience. The stewardesses lacked it.

The flight attendants of Emirates are very young and seem to care more about their appearance and make up than the plane and passengers.

I did not have trust in their skills. In case of an emergency, they would be hopeless.

One thing which was a bit negative was the meal. We were given a choice of chicken or lamb, we chose lamb and we heard that there was no lamb left. After about 8-10 minutes we got lamb but still the whole situation was weird.

Budka sprzedająca słodkie ziemniaki oraz banany w cieście i wiele innych smakołyków.

Mistrzowski napój: sok z trzciny cukrowej z plasterkiem cytryny. Wspaniałe stawia na nogi podczas upałów. Aby przygotować kubek napoju, sprzedawca używa 4 półmetrowych kawałków trzciny cukrowej, którą przepuszcza przez specjalną wyciskarkę-zgniatarkę.

MRT is the name of underground system in Singapore. It is cheap, reliable and clean.

It offers 5 lines – routes around the city. We mainly used the green (East West Line) and the blue line (Downtown Line).

We chose a two day unlimited pass which cost us 16 $ per person.

There is so called refundable rental card deposit of 10$.

One mustn’t drink or eat while using metro. The fine is 500$.

MRT to nazwa metra w Singapurze i zarazem tani oraz bezpieczny sposób poruszania się po tym dużym mieście.

MRT oferuje pięć tras. My korzystaliśmy głównie z lini zielonej oraz niebieskiej.

Metro robi wrażenie, linie metra jeżdżą na różnych poziomach. Czasem schodzimy o 5 poziomów-pięter pod ziemię, żeby skorzystać z wybranej linii.

MRT jest bardzo szybkie i autonomiczne, jeździ samo, bez motorniczego.

Za możliwość korzystania z metra przez dwa pełne dni, bez żadnych ograniczeń zapłaciliśmy po 16$ singapurskich. Za wydanie karty doliczono nam tzw. depozyt w wysokości 10$.

W metrze nie wolno jeść i pić. Kary są spore: 500 dolarów singapurskich.
