Anybody who is interested in a very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced hotel in F. Lauderdale should stay in Holiday Inn Express 1500 Commercial Blv.
Apart from the comfy rooms and good service the hotel offers really delicious breakfast with a wide choice of food. Breakfast is hot so it is a great way to start a day.
When it comes to the Banyan aiport and our flight to Bimini, I have to admit that both were incredible.
The airport is for the VIPs so you feel really special there. The plane, although it has seen better days, was cool to fly on.
The plane took on board 9 people. It was the plane from the 1950’s and some parts like doors were not working properly. However, the pilot was trustworthy and experienced.
The flight to Bimini was short. It lasted about 40 minutes and the views from the top were amazing.
The Bimini Airport is really small, just one little green house. The passport control is really fast.
The island itself is not really special but the time has stopped there.
